By working with Erie County, we are committed to implementing a residential food scrap drop-off program and supporting community outreach and education to ensure its success. Specifically, the Town, in conjunction with the Village of East Aurora, agrees to: e Designate a municipal project contact to coordinate with Erie County staff. e Identify and host at least one residential food scrap drop-off site within the municipality. e Coordinate transportation of collected food scraps to a designated recycling facility or work with Erie County to identify alternatives. e Assist in planning and hosting at least one community education event to raise awareness about food waste reduction and composting. e Support data collection efforts by providing site photos, usage metrics, and feedback to Erie County. We look forward to collaborating with Erie County and our residents to make this program a success and to contribute meaningfully to New York State’s climate goals. Sincerely,

OG Town of Aurora Town Board — Work Session, June 16, 2026 National Fuel Gas — Grover Road Noise Complaint For nearly a year, residents of Grover Road have endured persistent industrial tonal noise emanating from National Fuel Gas Distribution infrastructures in our neighborhood. One is located at 1228 Grover Rd, and the other on the corner of Grover and Jewett Holmwood. Despite repeated requests for resolution, formal DPS compiaints, political engagement, and National Fuel's own mitigation efforts, the noise continues to materially disrupt the daily lives of multiple families. More than 30 residents have already signed a petition under Public Service Law §71, which when filed compels the NYS Public Service Commission to formally investigate. National Fuel has publicly stated the infrastructure produces “no noticeable sound” — a claim our documentation directly contradicts. We are asking the Town Board to: Formally advocate on behalf of affected residents and join us by signing the section §71 petition. Municipal support carries meaningful weight before the PSC and signals this is a community matter, not an individual complaint. Families on Grover Road have been patient. We are asking the Town Board to stand with us. Submitted by: Sayer Murphy — 1271 Grover Road, East Aurora — [email protected] — 716-238-6330
