East Aurora / Town of Aurora Police Department Interdepartmental Correspondence Training: All officers were assigned 30 daily training bulletins through Lexipol. Officers were also assigned two trainings through PERMA, the Village’s risk management carrier. They are 1. Use of Force: Decision Making and Judgement - which is course code PT 42 and took approximately 1 hour to complete 2. Use of Force: Community Policing and Community Perceptions- which i is course code PT 44 and took approximately 1 hour to complete Officers also viewed the "Emotional Wellness Webinar" through the Village EAP program. Arrests / Investigations While there were various arrests made during the Month of April, two arrests of note were: there were no out of ordinary arrets made in the month of May. Miscellaneous e The speed monitoring devices continue to be placed at various locations in the jurisdiction. A reminder that these devices record numbers of vehicles and the speeds at which vehicles are traveling.
