Planning Board Village of Orchard Park January 6, 2026 Applicant is requesting a Variance to Municipal Code Section 225.11(C)(1)(A) Applicant is requesting a Variance to erect a 6 ft. high fence in an exterior side yard setback 5 ft. from the exterior side property line. 35 ft. setback required by code. Appearance: Garrett Hoyler Discussion: There was discussion on the material requested for this type of fence. Questions were asked as to why the applicant was requesting the variance. The Board liked the openness at the intersection without fences obstructing. Options discussed – reduce the height, type or placement. Moved by Gunner Tronolone, seconded by Krista Ehlert to make a positive referral to the Zoning Board of Appeals to erect a 6 ft. fence in and exterior side yard setback 5 ft. from the exterior side property line at 269 Woodland Drive for Garrett Hoyler SBL# 172.16-1-1. The vote on the motion being: Gunner Tronolone, Chairman No Kevin Crane No Krista Ehlert No Myrna Woodard No The motion was denied.
