WEST SENECA PARKS Park Renaming Proposal On this, the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our great nation, we honor the young men and women who took up arms to overthrow British rule and fought to make our country freedom. As citizens of the United States of America we need to honor and remember those who still fight to keep our country safe and free. There are way too many individuals who went over-and-above and gave their lives to defend our country and our values. They need to be recognized for their sacrifice, which is why the West Seneca Joint Veterans Committee has proposed renaming the following three Town Parks in their honor.
