TO: Honorable Town Board FROM: Megan Wnek, Director of Finance DATE: June 29, 2026 SUBJECT: Director of Finance re 2026 Budget Amendment - Justice Court Requested Action: Kindly authorize the following 2026 budget amendment for the use of revenue from the JCAP Grant awarded to the Justice Department: RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, the Town of West Seneca Courts received a JCAP Grant from New York State in the amount of $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, the payments received from this grant in May 2026 have been recognized as revenue in the General Fund as State Aid - JCAP, account 01000100.43042: NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby authorize the 2026 budget amendment to increase State Aid JCAP Income by $10,000.00 for the receipt of the JCAP grant. Courts – Equipment JCAP, account #01111000.50202 will also be increased by $10,000.00 for the associated expenses on this grant.
