Regular Meeting 25
  May 14, 2026

Supervisor Gingerich Jr. stated first off, it is not a re-zone, it never got re-zoned, it is zoned
Agricultural. They had to go for a variance under the Zoning Board of Appeals. Once the
application is applied, we cannot institute a moratorium of changes because once the
application starts it is grandfathered regardless of what we do. Now, I will make a statement
later as to what the town has done and there will be no future ones in the “A” zones. Yes, we
take this as a high concern on Motor Crossing. Motor crossing came up over one year ago
and we let it ride and tried working with the landowners because of the issue now we are
getting some other people questioning us so that is why we are putting it in. But don’t ever
say this Town Board isn’t proactive. We are not going to go back and forth; we are going to
close the Public Hearing soon. I understand the frustrations.

Hearing no further comment from those in attendance, the hearing was closed at 8:00 p.m.
