Work Session:

  1. Next Era Energy – Kevin Kreutzer:

Kevin from New Wave Energy spoke regarding their Municipal Energy Management Program which proposes a
fixed rate for the Town’s National Grid and National Fuel costs. The Town currently has a variable rate that
changes monthly and is susceptible to a wide variety of market conditions. Variable commodity rates have proven
to increase swiftly based on a wide range of conditions. A fixed rate allows the Town to take control over the
utility spend and is budget friendly.

The Town Board asked additional questions and requested to be quoted rates to compare.

  2. Town Goals for Next Year; Public Survey:

The Town Board discussed the community survey that would be dispersed electronically to Town Residents about
the future of the Town and what residents would like to see in the next year. The Town Board members will each
come up with questions that will be narrowed down for a survey by the next board meeting.
