o Must be shared publicly and presented to the community via regular or special Town Board meeting or Commission/Board meeting (i.e. Recreation Commission, Historical Commission) o Written request must be posted conspicuously on Town Website(s) • A 30 day waiting period must occur allowing residents or interested parties to provide public comments on proposed naming or dedication requests. • After a waiting period of 30 days, the Town appointed committee shall provide a written recommendation in support of or denial of naming or dedication request to the Town Board. • The Town Board will consider such request(s) and approve by a super majority vote (4 of 5 Councilmembers) to name or dedicate a town facility* • The Town Board has final approval of any signage (design, color and size) in accordance with any applicable zoning or code requirements Page 17 of 182
