TO: Honorable Town Board FROM: Megan Wnek, Director of Finance DATE: October 12, 2026 SUBJECT: Director of Finance re Senior Center Budget Amendment Requested Action: Kindly authorize the following 2026 budget amendment for the use of revenue from the 2026 Legislature Lindsay Lorigo Grant awarded to the Senior Center RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, the Town of West Seneca Senior Center received a grant from Legislature Lindsay Lorigo in the amount of $5,000.00; and WHEREAS, the payments received from this grant have been recognized as revenue in the General Fund as State Aid – Other, account 01000100.43089; NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby authorize the 2026 budget amendment to increase State Aid – Other by $5,000.00 for the receipt of the Legislature Lindsay Lorigo. Senior Center – Craft Material and Supplies, account #01762000.50478 will also be increased by $5,000.00 for the associated expenses on this grant.
