Employees

•Salary increases dictated by the Union Contract (2024-2026) – 5% increase for 2025
•Retirement increased $13,000 based on anticipated contribution
•Social Security increased $1,000 as overall salaries increased
•Workers Comp – kept the same as we have not yet received new rates
•Health Insurance – kept the same - Town plan is seeing a 15% premium increase as well as a deductible increase that affects HRA
contribution. However, 1 employee dropped the health insurance leaving room for the increases w/in current budget

CHIPS, PAVE-NY, EWR, & POP

•State funding – State maintained almost exact same funding as 2024 for all of the categories: CHIPS, PAVE-NE, Extreme Winter, & Pave-
 Our-Potholes (POP).
•Expecting $121,732 CHIPS / $28,470 PAVE-NY / $24,112 Extreme Winter / $18,981 POP
•Revenues match whatever expenditures are submitted for reimbursement up to this amount

General Repairs

•Summer Roadwork, Chipsealing, NovaChip – $203,647 (same as prior year)
•Fuel costs - $60,000 (same as prior year)
•Road drainage – $30,000 (same as prior year)

Machinery

•Equip - $200,500 (same as prior year) – Highway requested (2) International CV515 plow truck with dump box, plow, and wing for
replacement in 2022 and 2023. Due to supply chain issues the 1st truck was not ordered until 2023 and the town has not received it as of
Oct. 2024. The other truck was budgeted for in 2024. As the 1st truck has not yet been received, the 2024 budget was re-allocated to
purchase a utility truck for $64,853, originally planned as the 2025 purchased. The plow truck was thus again delayed and is now slated for
purchase in 2025. Equipment funds not used in 2024 will roll to fund balance and be re-appropriated towards this purchase in 2025.
•Cont - $65,000 (same as prior year) - repairs on trucks. As new trucks are cycled in, the repair costs are decreasing.

Misc Brush & Weeds

•Cont - $5,000 (same as prior year) - Removal of trees overhanging the road where the highway guys can’t get

Snow Removal

•Plowing Supplies $130,695 – (same as prior year) – Each year, this account has left over money if the winter is not bad. There are no
adjustments deemed necessary at this time as it is hard to predict snowfall and associated material usage.
