Rev: May-26 TOWN OF BOSTON Application for Display of Fireworks The Town of Boston Town Board passed Local Law Date: __________________________ No. 2 of 2025 on October 15 , 2025, titled “A Local th Received By: _____________________ Law to Add Chapter 58 to the Code of the Town of Boston, Entitled ‘Fireworks’.” The purpose of this Fee: ______________________ chapter is to regulate the possession, use, and sale of fireworks within the Town of Boston, consistent with the laws and regulations of the State of New York, including the New York State Fire Code, New York Penal Law § 270, and 9 CRR-NY Part 225. These regulations are enacted to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of residents, visitors, and property. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Completed application must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event’s proposed date. Application Checklist ⃞ Copy of NYS Pyrotechnic Certificate for each individual firing the display. ⃞ Safety & Crowd Control Plan. Must include: o Detailed site plan, o Discharge point, o Location of all buildings, o Highways, and o Overhead obstructions. ⃞ Application must include liability insurance listing Town of Boston as an additional insured, in an amount no less than two-million dollars ($2,000,000).
