Employee Health Insurance Update
Supervisor DePasquale reported that the employees met with benefits coordinator April Hartloff
to discuss health insurance options; either stay on the current plan or move to an HRA deductible
plan. The employees chose to stay with the current plan and to increase their contributions to
10% - 15% depending upon their hire date. The subject will be discussed at the August meeting.

Dog Control and Kennel
The Board discussed contracting dog control services with the town of East Aurora beginning
January 1, 2027. Implementation of the new NYS Ag and Markets kennel regulations make it too
expensive for the Town to maintain its own kennel. If passed, the change will be advertised.

Kummer Park Updates
The Board discussed a request from Parks Scott Kirby to purchase a set of disc golf baskets to
have multiple baskets at each hole. Profits from the disc golf tournaments would be used to
offset the costs. DePasquale is seeking Erie County and State funding to add lighting and install
Wi-Fi and cameras at Kummer Park.

Short Term Rental Fees & Fines
Supervisor asked the Board if there were any questions for tonight’s meeting. There were none.

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
The Board discussed scheduling a BESS Public Hearing for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to
allow all Board Members to be present.

WORKSHOP ADJOURNED AT 6:40 PM
Respectfully submitted,

Deborah Jusiak
Town Clerk
