TB Workshop, Thursday, May 14, 2026 TOWN BOARD WORKSHOP MEETING Colden Town Hall – 6:00 pm WORKSHOP CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:02 pm PRESENT Councilman Dennis Robinson Councilman Jesse Hrycik Councilman Patricia Zurbrick Councilman Gerald Pietraszek Supervisor James DePasquale ALSO PRESENT Highway Superintendent Lee Wohlhueter CEO John Kotlarsz CEO Tom Dziulko Planning Board Chairman Walter Kammer Town Clerk Deborah Jusiak Approximately 4 residents Mill St Bridge Replacement Supervisor DePasquale stated there are no updates on the project. Review of Draft Short-Term-Rental (STR) Local Law The Board reviewed the draft Local Law. In the code, STR owners would apply to the Town for a permit to be renewed annually. The proposed code requires host contact info be given to the Town, law enforcement and emergency personnel. Any changes to the host information will be provided within 24 hours. The Board amended the judicial fines section to include a section reading “the fines enforced at the time of the offense.” Kummer Park Rules The Board discussed proposed rules for Kummer Park and Supervisor DePasquale will prepare a new draft for review at the June meeting. NYS Ag & Markets Kennel Requirements The Board discussed the stringent NYS Ag & Markets requirements. Surrounding towns have contracted with the Town of East Aurora’s kennel which meets the requirements. Councilman Robinson will investigate this option.
