He introduced April Hartloff and Alan Justin of Hartloff Benefits Solutions LLC, the Town’s health insurance coordinators. They presented several employee health plan options featuring deductibles and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs). In HRAs, any unused Town funded deductibles amounts are forfeited back to the Town at the time of plan renewal. If deductibles are exceeded, employees would be responsible for the costs. Some of the plans require employees to provide an explanation of benefits (eob) to the health insurance company. The Board will discuss the options. Supervisor DePasquale presented the 2026 Town Budget’s expected revenue versus the anticipated personnel and Town services costs. The Town does not have enough funds for expansion of any programing this year. He anticipates another workshop to discuss municipal insurance and the 2027 Budget.
