TB Workshop, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 TOWN BOARD SPECIAL BUDGET HEARING — WATER AMENDMENT Colden Town Hall — 7:00 pm PUBLIC HEARING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:02 pm PRESENT Councilman Dennis Robinson Councilman Jesse Hrycik Councilman Patricia Zurbrick Councilman Gerald Pietraszek Supervisor James DePasquale ALSO PRESENT Town Clerk Deborah Jusiak 2026 Budget Public Hearing to Amend the Water Rate Supervisor DePasquale opened the Public Hearing for an amendment to the 2026 Colden Town Budget water unit rate. He explained that the 2026 Budget rate of $682.35 was calculated using Colden’s water bills from mid-2025. The bills were high due to leaks in the system contributing to significant water loss. Since the leaks have been repaired, the bills are lower and the water rate can be lowered from $682.35 to $527.32 per parcel. MOTION made by Councilwoman Zurbrick; seconded by Councilman Robinson and unanimously approved to lower the 2026 Budget water unit rate from $682.35 to $527.32 per parcel by the following vote: On the vote: Councilman Dennis Robinson - yes Councilman Jesse Hrycik - yes Councilman Patricia Zurbrick - yes Councilman Gerald Pietraszek - yes Supervisor James DePasquale - yes PUBLIC HEARING ADJOURNED AT 7:07PM Respectfully submitted, TATUNW | \la Mia lA V )\Wi (Wwe / Lal x Deborah Jusiak, Town Clerk
