YEAR 2026 FOR THE TOWN OF COLLINS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to resolu on of the Town Board of the Town of Collins, New York, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Collins, New York, at the Town Hall, 14093 Mill Street, Collins, New York, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. to consider the following: Town of Collins Proposed Local Law No. 1-2026, which, if approved, would impose a twelve (12) months moratorium on the issuance of applica ons and gran ng of permits for Si ng of Commercial Ba ery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Projects in the Town of Collins. RESOLUTION: CANCEL WINTER RECREATION PROGRAM FOR 2027 WHEREAS, the Town of Collins has tradi onally o ered a Winter Recrea on Program for the bene t and enjoyment of area residents, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has reviewed the plans and circumstances surrounding the upcoming Winter Recrea on Program, and WHEREAS a er careful considera on, the Town Board has determined that it is in the best interest of the Town to cancel the Winter Recrea on Program for the upcoming winter season. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collins Town Board hereby cancels the Winter Recrea on Program for the 2027 winter season.
