Village of Gowanda Special Meeting August 24, 2026 The Special Meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM by Mayor Mark Nephew. Present: Mayor Mark Nephew, Trustee Paul Zimmermann, Trustee Carol Sheilbey Employees: Treasurer Traci Hopkins The purpose of the special meeting was to appoint Kirkland Smuda as a water plant operator trainee. Motion 8-59-Motion by Trustee Zimmermann, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to approve Kirkland Smuda as Water Plant Operator trainee effective August 24, 2026. Motion carried. Motion 8-60-Motion by Trustee Paul Zimmermann, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to adjourn the special meeting at 3:02 PM. Motion carried. Respectfully Submitted Danielle Wagner Clerk
