TOWN OF AURORA SENIOR CENTER DIRECTOR’S REPORT Month of July 2026 The mission of the Town of Aurora Senior Center is to help older adults remain healthy and active through participation in recreational pursuits and to provide leadership and advocacy to ensure the availability of leisure and recreational opportunities for seniors. ADMINISTRATION: We continued with our University Expresses classes in July. Our most popular class in July was What your Survivor’s need to know: Creating a Legacy Document. Our center attended the Annual Erie County Picnic at Como Lake Park. The county sponsors two days totaling 500 people each day. County Executive Mark Poloncarz is always in attendance along with Commissioner Randy Hoak. Each center provides a basket to raffle and lots of games. — Bieler Janitorial stripped and waxed our floors which were in bad need of attention.
