Town of Aurora | Special Town Board Meeting | August 31, 2026 A special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Aurora took place on Monday, August 31, 2026, beginning at 5:30 PM. The Board met in-person at the Aurora Municipal Center, 575 Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora, New York. The meeting was live streamed via YouTube. Present: Jessica Armbrust Councilmember Benjamin Garvey Councilmember Joseph McCann Councilmember Charles D. Snyder Supervisor Excused: Brigid Maloney Town Attorney Raymond Wrazen Councilmember Supervisor (Supv.) Snyder opened the meeting at 6:30 PM with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. AUDIENCE I: none UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Councilmember McCann moved to authorize the Supervisor to sign an Action #310 agreement for Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services with Waste Supv. authorized Management, 1700 West Park Drive, Westborough, MA 01581 effective January 1, to sign Waste 2027 through December 31, 2032 at a per unit rate of $269.31 for 2027 and for the Management remaining years in accordance with the Consumer Price Index Annual Adjustment contract Formula as noted in the agreement. Councilmember Garvey seconded the motion. Upon a vote being taken: ayes – four, noes – none. Motion carried.
