MINUTES OF A MEETING AS HELD BY THE TOWN OF AURORA PLANNING & CONSERVATION BOARD September 2nd, 2026 Members Present: Chairman, Doug Crow Bill Heidt Alternate Member: Lori Borowiak Bill Fierle Absent/ Excused: Norm Merriman Laurie Kutina Chris Contento Angela Griffis Tim Stroth Also Present: Rich Miga, Assistant Code Enforcement Officer Rebecca Birmingham, tenant, owner of The Grooming Post Chairman, Doug Crow presided over the meeting which began at 7:02 p.m. at the Town Hall, 575 Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora, NY. He led the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. William Heidt makes a motion to approve August 5th, 2026, minutes. Second by Lori Borowiak Upon a vote being taken: Ayes- 4 Noes- 0 Motion carried Chairman, Doug Crow states Bill Fierle and Lori Borowiak are voting members tonight. ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS: Chairman, Doug Crow introduces the newly appointed Planning Board alternative, Lori Borowiak. Chairman, Doug Crow states there is a NYAOT, 2026 Planning and Zoning School training being offered for anyone interested in attending. It is October 22, in Fairport, New York. The cost of training will be covered by the Town and registration can be done through Town Clerk’s office. South Towns Working Group: Tim Stroth was not present, however, via email stated there is no update on the Southtowns Planning & Development Group. The next meeting is scheduled for October 26th, location TBD. He will provide additional information at the October Planning Board meeting and/or via email to the group.
