Proposed Local Law to Establish the Use and Authorization of the Official Village of East Aurora Seal Establishment of seal. The seal heretofore provided and used by and for the Village of East Aurora is hereby continued as the seal and emblem of the Village. Said seal, as depicted below shall be published in the Village’s official Code Book, and facsimiles thereof shall be maintained by the Village Clerk. Use of seal. The Village Seal, logo, designs, slogans, images, trademarks or service marks shall be used only with, or in connection with, official Village of East Aurora website, documents and events and solely for the purpose of indicating that such website, document or event is an official website, document or event of the Village of East Aurora. Unauthorized Use of seal. Unauthorized use; penalty. Any person who is not authorized by law to use, exhibit or display the Seal of the Village of East Aurora and who uses, exhibits or displays the Seal of the Village of East Aurora for purposes not directly associated with village business, shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both. Each day's continuance of a violation after notice shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation and shall be punishable accordingly.
