Highway Superintendent Report for June 2026 Road Work: Ditched Blanchard, Darien, Raiber, Parker and Cherrywood Ridge Cut shoulders on Raiber. Swept Hawks Hill, Wagner, Wilkins and Ward Borrowed Jetter trailer from West Seneca — opened up clogged street drains on Hillcrest. Mowed road shoulders Hand patched Ward Rd. Put up fresh oil signs Took Jetter trailer up to Wilkins Rd — opened up clogged pipe. Checked driveway pipes (heavy rains) Oiled and chipped Ward, Wilkins, Wagner, Geer, Hawks Hill, Edgewood Dr., Legion Drive pumphouse road Cleaned up a tree across the road ~ Ward Rd. Checked roads for branches and trees down (heavy winds) Blacktopped road culvert crossing on Raiber Rd. Blacktopped shoulder 9345 Burlingham — fixed washouts Equipment: Took 2007 International to Hillcrest for estimate on blasting frame and painting. Worked on brakes — 2016 Kenworth. Fixed hydraulic line on 2016 Kenworth. Took excavator to Baschmann for track work. Greased trucks and equipment. Snow Removal: N/A Water: Monthly reports submitted to the Department of Health. Monthly samples submitted to the Department of Health. Iron, manganese and nitrate samples taken at both pumphouses. Jeremy is working on insulation and rebuilding ceiling at Water Street pumphouse. Working on getting contractors lined up to do Water St. pumphouse upgrades. Cleaned tower and pit —- Water St. pumphouse. Cleaned tanks and new filters — Legion Dr. pumphouse. ° Sign Co. finished painting water tank on Vermont St. and painted the mural. Facilities: Painter Ed finished painting at Community Center. Dave Nelligan fixed playground lights, fixed lights under shelter. Pickle Ball courts have been completed. Blooms scheduled to do flooring in conference room and Justin’s office at Town Hall on July 13th. Community Center basement cleaned out. Windows are scheduled to be replaced at Community Center in August. July Tasks: Cut shoulders on Darien, Blanchard and Owlsburrough. Work on lawn at shop Clean up yard.
