RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZE PRE-PAYMENT OF TOWN EMPLOYEE REGISTRATIONS TO ATTEND 06/04/26 LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONFERENCE WHEREAS, the Town desires that its employees a end training sessions rela ve to their posi ons within the Town, and WHEREAS. The 2026 Local Government Conference presented by the Southern Tier West Regional Planning & Development Board to be held on June 4, 2026, will be presen ng training sessions rela ve to most Town posi ons. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collins Town Board hereby authorizes pre-payment of registra on fees for those Town employees wishing to a end the 2026 Local Government Conference, at $60.00 each. RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZE TOWN SUPERVISOR TO SIGN THE DOEREN MAYHEW PAYROLL INFORMATION TRANSITION AUTHORIZATION FORM WHEREAS, the Town of Collins had contracted with Bahgat & Laurito-Bahgat, CPA, P.C. for bookkeeping and payroll services, and WHEREAS, Bahgat & Laurito-Bahgat, CPA, P.C. has become part of Doeren Mayhew Advisors, LLC. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collins Town Board hereby acknowledges and approves the transi on of the Town’s payroll informa on from the current Bahgat & Laurito-Bahgat, CPA, P.C. pla orm to the Doeren Mayhew payroll pla orm and that the Town Supervisor be authorized to sign the Payroll Informa on Transi on Authoriza on Form. RESOLUTION: APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR A LEGALLY VALID 2026 GENERAL ELECTION Mo on made by and seconded by that the Collins Town Board hereby adopts the Resolu on en tled “Resolu on for a Legally Valid 2026 General Elec on”. RESOLUTION: SET PUBLIC HEARING ON DEMOLITION OF TWO PROPERTIES IN THE TOWN OF COLLINS WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 131 of the Code of the Town of Collins en tled, “Buildings Unsafe”; and WHEREAS, the Town Duly No ced the following property owners and/or those with any interest in demoli on of any such buildings or structures thereon considered to be unsafe or dangerous; 2327 Wheater Road, Collins NY 14034 SBL# 341.00-1-18 13619 Route 62, Collins NY 14034 SBL# 329.00-1-33 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Collins Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to adver se for a public hearing to be held on June 8, 2026 at 7:30 PM for the purpose of solici ng public input for the demoli on of unsafe structures on the two proper es previously men oned in the Town of Collins.
