TO: Honorable Town Board FROM: Chris Trapp, Town Attorney DATE: March 23, 2026 SUBJECT: Town Attorney re Local Law 2026-3 Modification of Chapter 12-20.8 Outdoor Entertainment Requested Action: In an effort to simplify the process for granting of permits for outdoor entertainment in the Town, in conjunction with the Code enforcement Office, a proposal to modify the current local law has been prepared. While most review will remain with the CEO, there are provisions for Town Board review and approval for longer events or repeated events during the year. A copy of the proposed local law is attached.
