Village of Gowanda Board Meeting Minutes May 12, 2026 The Village of Gowanda Board of Trustees meeting was called to order by Mayor Nephew at 6:00 PM. Present: Mayor Mark Nephew, Trustee Peter Sisti, Trustee Paul Zimemrmann, Trustee Wanda Koch, Trustee Carol Sheibley Employees: Clerk Danielle Wager, Treasurer Traci Hopkins, WWTP Supervisor Andy Carrirero, Highway Supervisor Adam Reid, Water Supervisor Kirk Trumpore, OIC Ross Olszewski, Code George Poff, Jason Pickering Public Present: Barbara Heitzenrater, Jim Jensen, Bob Timmel, Jack Broyles, Theresa Girome, Gene Majahrzak, Judith Timmel, Brad Mohawk Agenda & Minutes Motion 5-217-Motion by Trustee Koch, seconded by Trustee Zimmermann to approve the agenda for the May 12, 2026 board meeting. Motion carried. Motion 5-218-Motion by Trustee Sheibley, seconded by Trustee Zimmermann to approve the minutes from the April 21, 2026 board meeting. Motion carried. Public Participation Barb Heitzenrator-13 Caroline Rd. has had sewer issues due to Village tree roots. Would at least like the trees cut down. Bob Timmerl-restoration company offering to help residents after the storm Jack Broyles-does not agree with the multiple units dwelling getting charged a minimum for water. Judith Timmel-Thatcher Brook update, some issues with it by her residence. Correspondence • Feed more WNY families market schedule Official Business Mayor/Board of Trustees The American Legion would like to do the hometown hero banners. Armes Building project update-there will be work session next month at 5:30.
