Village of Gowanda Board Meeting Minutes December 9, 2025 The Village of Gowanda Board of Trustees meeting was called to order by Mayor Nephew at 6:00 PM. Present: Mayor Mark Nephew, Trustee Peter Sisti, Trustee Paul Zimemrmann, Trustee Wanda Koch Trustee Carol Sheibley . Employees: Clerk Danielle Wagner, Treasurer Traci Hopkins (left at 6:43pm), WWTP Supervisor Andy . _ Carriero, Highway Supervisor Adam Reid, OIC ross Olszewski Absent: Attorney Deb Chadsey, Code Jason Pickering & George Poff, Water Supervisor Kirk Trumpore Public: Jack Broyles, Theresa Girome Agenda & Minutes Motion 12-112-Motion by Trustee Sheibley, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the agenda for the December 9,2025 board meeting. Motion carried. Motion 12-113-Motion by Trustee Zimmermann, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve the minutes from the November 13, 2025 meeting and November 21, 2025 special meeting. Motion carried. Public Participation Jack Broyles-would like the board to recognize the difference betweena code and a local law. Official Business Mayor/Board of Trustees The Village will be looking into a local law prohibiting camping, lodging, sleeping or unapproved use in lieu of proper housing in public places. NYSEG made an offer to the purchase the old ambulance building-the Village needs to get an appraisal done of the building. Motion 12-114-Motion by Trustee Sisti, seconded by Trustee Koch to approve the appraisal report for the vacant ambulance building from GAR Appraisal. Motion carried. Code-Wanda Koch Motion 12-115-Motion by Trustee Koch, seconded by Trustee Sheibley to approve the draft of the rental Registration Law. Motion carried. Motion 12-116-Motion by Trustee Koch, seconded by Trustee Sisti to approve to set the Rental Registration Law for January 6, 2026 at 6PM. Motion carried.
