Sewer Department Board Meeting Report February 2026 Daily Responsibilities: Daily Readings/Reports and Plant Inspection Pump approx. 10,000 gallons of primary sludge to sludge thickening tank. Pump thickened sludge to Digester as needed. Lab Samples two times per day. Ongoing Responsibilities: Belt Press Sludge Repair and rebuild pumps. Clean Tanks. Flush Sewers (as needed and per maintenance schedule). General upkeep of grounds and buildings. These items are directly related to the treatment plant. This month additionally we have: e Completed Monthly DMR for NYSDEC. e Assisted and-received assistance from Highway and Water as needed. e Marked dig notices. : e NYSDEC will have a contractor sample Landfill #2 on Panther Drive on the 25° and 26" of February. e Assisted Town of Collins Highway with Vac truck. e NYSDOT plow. hit manhole on Main Street, it will be repaired: when weather permits.
