OCA’s Authority under the Judiciary Law • The regulations to the Judiciary Law include Guidelines for New York State Court Facilities (the “Guidelines”). • The Guidelines include recommendations for not only the overall appearance of court spaces, but the requisite number of courtrooms, square footage for required office spaces, safety-related requirements, and the general layout of the court space.
