WEST SENECA COMMUNITY CENTER WEST SENECA HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMISSION 1300 UNION ROAD MEETING MINUTES WEST SENECA, NY 14224 APRIL 1, 2026 CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the West Seneca Historical Preservation Commission was called to order by Chairperson Lang at 6:36 PM. ROLL CALL Present: 1. Paul Lang, Chairperson 2. Ray Ball 3. Maureen Berbary 4. Fran D’Amico 5. Michael Siuta Absent: • Scott Robertson (Excused) APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Mr. Ball, seconded by Ms. D’Amico, to approve the March 4, 2026 meeting minutes. Ayes: All Noes: None Abstain: None Motion: Carried OLD BUSINESS • Continuation of Historic District Advancement and Funding Alternatives Chairperson Lang reported there were no new updates regarding grant processes. He stated that the next round for Certified Local Government (CLG) grants has not yet been announced. Chairperson Lang stated he hopes to receive an update during the upcoming Landmark Society of Western New York 2026 Preservation Conference, where he plans to speak with a representative from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). In response to a question from Mr. Ball, Chairperson Lang confirmed he provided Councilmember Robertson with various informational materials for context about the Commission and that there has been no further contact with Councilmember Robertson about this topic. 1
