provide timely recommendations to the Town Board. The Commission set the 3rd
Wednesday of the month, excluding August and December at 6 pm in the Large
Conference Room in the CCL.

Looking Forward 2026:

The Youth & Recreation Commission will continue to support recreation programs and
infrastructure improvements that reflect the needs and priorities of West Seneca
residents. Key areas of focus moving forward include:
  • Continued Park and playground upgrades across the Town
  • Evaluation of new recreation amenities and facilities
  • Expanded community recreation programming and events
  • Implementation of priorities identified in the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive
  Plan Addendum
  • Coordinate with the Town leadership during the annual budget planning process

Appreciation:

The Commission extends its appreciation to the West Seneca Town Board, Recreation
Department staff, Highway Department, and community residents for their continued
support and collaboration in strengthening recreation opportunities throughout the Town.

Respectfully submitted,

Mary T. Sherman
Town Board Liaison to the Recreation Commission
