TO: Honorable Town Board FROM: Gary Dickson, Supervisor DATE: April 13, 2026 SUBJECT: Supervisor Dickson re Business Insurance Renewal Requested Action: Please find attached the renewal proposal for the Town of West Seneca. There is a slight increase in the premium due to the Property values on Replacement Cost increasing. The replacement cost increases as the cost to rebuild structures, material costs, labor costs, and tariffs play a major role. The following Carriers were approached, and they declined due to the loss history. • Houston Casualty • McKee Risk Management • Selective • Travelers • Trident The good news is the fire at Highway Department will fall off the loss run experience period for 2027, so there may be more Carriers that will provide quotes for 2027.
