Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems LLC d/b/a Verizon ('·Verizon''), is a public utility and
wireless telecommunications licensee of the Federal Communications Commission C'FCC' ). To
provide adequate and reliable wireless telecommunications service in its Oaklccds Micro cd l.
Verizon proposes to co-locate and operate a '"micro cell'" wireless telecom munication:,; facili ty on
a replacement utility located in front of340 Prospect Avenue in the Vill~tge of East Allrnra (the
'"Site").
The micro cell will be co-located on an existing uti lity po le owned by NYSEG (the ··Pole
Owner'} The proposed antenna "viii be installed with an ACL of 28.2' AGL and wi ll extend to
an overal l height of 29.2 1 J\GL, as shown on the enclosed site plan prepared by Erdman Anthcmy
Engineering (the "Project"). Verizon' s proposed Project con forms to the PCIA consensus
deiinition of a small cell facility. which states that such install ations '·consist of relatively
i11conspicL1ous. small form-factor installations consisting of one or more radio transceivers.
antennas. interconnecting cables. power supply. and other associated electronics:·
Sl1ch wireless telecommunications facilities are permi tted in the Village or East Aurora
upon the issuance of a small wireless facility permit by the Vi llage Board (Village of East
Aurora Telecommunications Facilities Law (the "Telecommunications Law ..) § 270-4).
