Town Board of the Town of Hamburg October 19, 2026 Meeting 4.22. Cutting and Removal of Dead Trees WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg Code Chapter 90 Dead Trees references the procedure for the Town of Hamburg to cut and remove a dead tree, and, WHEREAS, the Code Enforcement Department of the Town of Hamburg has sent multiple violation notices to the property owner of parcel SBL 160.14-1-27 to remove the two dead trees which can fall and hit structures located on neighboring properties on Highland Parkway. Per the Town Code the final notice sent by registered and certified mail to the property owner notifying the owner that the dead trees must be removed by October 13, 2026, and, WHEREAS, the property owner of parcel SBL 160.14-1-27 has disregarded all notices and has failed to cut down the dead trees, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the Code Enforcement Department to obtain a contractor to cut and remove the two dead trees located on parcel SBL 160.14-1-27 that can fall and hit the structures on the neighboring Highland Parkway parcels, and, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Board directs the expense of the tree cutting and removal be levied against parcel SBL 160.14-1-27 where the work has been done.
