Town Board of the Town of Hamburg October 5, 2026 Meeting 4.8. Presentation of the Supervisor's 2027 Budget pursuant to Town Law §106(3) WHEREAS, pursuant to New York State Town Law §106, the Town Supervisor, acting as Budget Officer, has prepared the 2027 Tentative Budget for the Town of Hamburg; and WHEREAS, the 2027 Tentative Budget has been filed with the Town Clerk as required by New York State Town Law §106; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law §106(3), the Town Clerk is required to present the Tentative Budget to the Town Board at a regular or special meeting; and WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has presented the 2027 Tentative Budget to the Town Board for its review and consideration; and WHEREAS, a copy of the 2027 Tentative Budget is available to view in the Hamburg Town Clerk's Office, 6100 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, NY 14075. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg hereby acknowledges receipt and presentation of the 2027 Tentative Budget prepared by the Town Supervisor/Budget Officer pursuant to New York State Town Law §106; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board shall review the Tentative Budget and may make such changes, alterations, and revisions as it deems appropriate in accordance with New York State Town Law; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to maintain the Tentative Budget as an official town record and to perform all duties required by law in connection with the budget process. 30
