Town of Hamburg Emergency Demolition Contractor Bid Award WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the enforcement of Town of Hamburg Local Law No. 5-1972 (Chapter 80) Unsafe Buildings, Village of Hamburg Local Law No. 1-2014. (Chapter 127) Dangerous Buildings, and Village of Blasdell Local Law No. 5-1997 (Chapter 100A) Unsafe Buildings and Structures, and such services to perform an emergency demolition of a structure that is in imminent danger of collapse are required and, Whereas, the Town of Hamburg advertised for bids for the 2027 Town Emergency Demolition Contractor and, Whereas, a public bid opening was held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 @10:30am, and bids were opened and read aloud and are summarized as follows; Bidder Estimate Hannah Demolition, Inc. $19,000.00 Geiter Done of WNY $32,000.00 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Hamburg appoints Hannah Demolition, Inc. as first called and Geiter Done of WNY as second called for the Town of Hamburg Emergency Demolition Contractors for the period of time from January 1, 2027 until December 31, 2027 to be on call for emergency demolitions.
