ISSUES OF THE PUBLIC
Public comments are questions were received as follows:

Pete Pietrak, Wimbledon Lane:
- Can seniors use equipment in the pool, such as flippers and snorkels - Director of Recreation Cox
stated he would consider this request.

James Manley, Larkwood Road:
- The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 25th

Jeff Quain, West Seneca:
- Referred to the ARPA report and asked what the "Reallocation of DAN funds" was - Supervisor
Dickson stated there was a $600,000 deficit in the 2019 budget and the fund balance was too low.
Money was borrowed to close out the year with a deficit anticipation note. Money from other lines was
used to pay the note and then ARPA funds were used for those lines.
- Expressed disappointment that the pool items were voted on and, in his opinion, the public did not
have enough time to review them
- Should the contract have been put out to bid, noting it was over $10,000, and questioned if this is
considered professional services

Beverly Leising, Harwood Road:
- It is important to her and others that worked to return the Town Board to 5 members that the vacant
seat is filled

Deputy Supervisor Greenan read the following comments from Facebook:
- Questioned why the town is charging veterans a fee to use the pool
- The pool fees were not discussed with the Recreation Commission - Director of Recreation Cox
stated this can be reviewed.
