Grant Application Blasdell Community Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Nomination On a motion of Elizabeth Farrell Lorentz, seconded by Lynn Dixon, the following resolution was Approved Ayes 5 Kozub, Bogulski, Farrell Lorentz, Dixon, Ortiz Nays 0 Abstain 0 Grant Application Town of Hamburg Seaway Trail Vista Point Design Project WHEREAS, the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) Local Waterfront Revitalization Program provides matching grants on a competitive basis to eligible villages, towns, or cities located along New York’s coasts or designated inland waterways, and WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg in partnership with the LESTC has identified concerns with the existing Seaway Trail facility and is requesting professional design services for the potential conversion of the facility to a Seaway Trail Vista Point. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: The Hamburg Town Board authorizes EECG Consulting to prepare and submit a grant application to NYSDOS through the 2026 NYS Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) on behalf of the Town of Hamburg, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, If the grant is awarded, the Town of Hamburg will commit to the 25% match required for the development and implementation of the proposed project, additionally, the Town of Hamburg will designate EECG Consulting to manage the grant on behalf of the Town of Hamburg, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, all project costs will be initially funded from the Town of Hamburg General Fund Balance (A000- 0000-0909-0000) pending reimbursement from the awarded grant funds.
