Town Board of the Town of Hamburg June 22, 2026 Meeting 4.21. Senior & Community Center IT, Security and Other Costs WHEREAS, as the Senior & Community Center project progresses, the Town must make decisions and commitments related to IT and Security; and WHEREAS, these items were not included in the bid as they involve the Town’s established systems and vendors, and ensures all systems are the same and compatible with existing Town systems, as well as better pricing using State lists and eliminating overhead; and WHEREAS, the new building will require a variety of items as listed, but not limited to, below Door access and Town fobs eeeee Security cameras Window and door alarms e@eee Fire alarm Intercom or PA system WIFI Server racks Data drops Window blinds WHEREAS, the IT Department working with YRSS and Engineering has received several quotes for the items and must authorize the work in order to allow for material lead times and meet project milestones. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves a budget amendment increase of not-to-exceed $450,000 from the following accounts: INCREASE: A000.0000.0599.0000 (General Fund Appropriated Fund Balance) by $450,000 INCREASE: A000.9950.0975.0004 (Interfund Transfers Transfer to Capital) by $450,000 INCREASE: H119.0000.5031.0000 (Capital Construction) by $450,000 INCREASE: H119.7187.0281.0000 (Interfund Transfers Transfer to Capital) by $450,000; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor and Finance Office are authorized and directed to make the necessary accounting and budgetary entries necessary to carry out this resolution and the Director of IT is authorized to sign quotes associated with the work. 55
