Town Board of the Town of Hamburg June 8, 2026 Meeting 4.29. Award of Town Beach Jetty Repair Project WHEREAS, the Town of Hamburg advertised for bids for the Town Beach Jetty Repair Project; and WHEREAS, a Public Bid Opening was held on June 1, 2026, at 11:00AM and bids read aloud; and WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed by the Engineering Department who determined that Legend Excavating LLC is a qualified and responsible lowest bidder, and recommends that the contract be awarded to them. BE IT RESOLVED, that the contract for this project is awarded to Legend Excavating LLC for $1,170,416.00 total bid, that the Town Supervisor is authorized to sign the contractual agreement, and that the Notice of Award and Notice to Proceed be issued at the appropriate times. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all project costs will be initially funded from the Town of Hamburg General Fund Balance (A000-0000-0909-0000), pending reimbursement from FEMA and the 25% local match of will be fully funded by the General Fund balance (A000-0000-0909-0000) and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the following budget amendments to transfer funds from the General Fund to the Jetty Restoration Capital Project Fund: GENERAL FUND (A): A000.0000.0599.0000 - Appropriated Fund Balance - $1,170,416 A000.9950.0975.0003 – Interfund Transfers to Capital Fund - $1,170,416 CAPITAL FUND (H): H114.0000.5031.0000 – Interfund Transfers from General Fund - $1,170,416 H114.7185.0281.0000-Capital Construction - $1,170,416 54
