During our in-person meeting at the Town Hall on 4/14/2026, we visited the west face of the Police Station and discussed adding to the project scope for Police Station pedestrian circulation. These improvements to the Police Station were not previously included in the project scope of work and therefore are captured in this Change Order #2. Task 3.2: CO #2 Police Station Revisions The following improvements will be added to the construction plans for the Police Station:  Removal of unnecessary concrete ramp segment and handrail, while protecting the main public entrance ramp. The area where the ramp is removed will be paved at parking lot grade. ADA-compliant handrail will be added to fit the proposed condition. Open area below the ramp that is exposed by removal of the concrete ramp segment will be enclosed with CMU and grout.  Removal of concrete sidewalk where the communications box is located. The communications box and adjacent downspout will be protected during construction. The area where sidewalk is removed will be replaced with grass area. The bottoms of the ramps on either side of this area will be cordoned off via installation of new ADA-compliant handrails. Bollards to further protect the communications box will not be required since the proposed pole-mounted ADA parking signs will obstruct vehicles from driving too close to the box. 24 wendelcompanies.com
