Town Board of the Town of Hamburg March 9, 2026 Meeting 4.3. Highway Budget Transfer NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves the appropriation and transfer of $155,782.00 from the DB [Unassigned] Fund Balance to increase appropriations in Account DB5142.467 Chemicals (Road Salt) for the purchase of road salt, as costs have exceeded the budgeted appropriation due to increased first-quarter demand associated with frequent snow and ice events and the depletion of salt purchased through the Erie County Bid process; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Finance Department is authorized and directed to make all necessary journal entries, budget modifications, and related documentation to implement this resolution. 4
