Town Board of the Town of Hamburg February 23, 2026 Meeting 4.8. Police-Donation Carryover WHEREAS, the Town received a donation in fiscal year 2025, a portion of which remained unexpended at year-end and was closed to fund balance in accordance with Town budget practice; and WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to provide 2026 spending authority to complete allowable training and seminar expenses; and WHEREAS, sufficient fund balance is available to finance this appropriation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg hereby amends the 2026 budget as follows: Account Code Description Original Budget Increase Amended Budget Town Outside Village B000.0000.0599.0000 $875,000.00 $978.33 $875,978.33 Appropriated Fund Balance Training and B000.3120.0492.0000 Professional $15,000.00 $978.33 $15,978.33 Development BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor and Finance Office are authorized and directed to make the necessary accounting and budgetary entries and to take all actions necessary to carry out this resolution. 14
