Narrative Description of Proposed Activities
Village Play - 612 Buffalo Road, East Aurora

Village Play is proposingto relocate its existing business from 651 Oakwood Ave to 612 Buffalo Road
within East Aurora. The relocation will allow the business to operate in a larger, safer, and more
accessible facility while expanding programming and services to better serve local families.

Village Play is an indoor children’s play and enrichment center designed primarily for children ages infant
through elementary and their caregivers. The proposed location will include a large indoor play floor
featuring age-appropriate play structures and activity stations. Open play will be offered daily from 9:00
AM to 7:00 PM.

In addition to open play, the business will host birthday parties and will have the ability to accommodate
multiple parties simultaneously in designated rental areas. The space will also be available for private
rentals such as baby showers, community gatherings, and third-party vendor-led classes.

The proposed site includes outdoor space that will be used for seasonal and weather-permitting
activities, such as climbing structures, water tables, a sand-digging/play area, and other supervised
outdoor programming like summer camps. Summer offerings may include ice cream sales as part of the
food and beverage program. We do not have plans for outdoor music.

The business currently employs 7 staff members and anticipates expanding to approximately 10
employees with the larger facility and increased programming. The proposed site includes approximately
150 parking spaces, which will adequately support the anticipated usé and occupancy levels for the
facility.

The facility will also feature:

.« Asmall coffee bar and expanded food and beverage service for patrons

« Daytime co-working and small office rental opportunities

e Kitchen rental availability for small local food businesses during designated hours

Altactivities will be supervised by staff. The business will operate as a family-focused community space
designed to provide safe recreational play, educational enrichment, and small-scale private event
 hosting.

Village Play is committed to maintaining a well-managed, clean, and safe environment that aligns with
the character of the surrounding community.

 Thanks!
