TOWN OF AURORA 575 OAKWOOD AVENUE, EAST AURORA, NY 14052 BUILDING DEPARTMENT (716) 652-7591 MEMO TO: Supervisor Snyder and Town Board Members FROM: _ Elizabeth Cassidy, Code Enforcement Officer DATE: _ February 20, 2026 The Building Department has accepted Special Use Permit (SUP) and Site Plan applications for 1196 Big Tree Rd (East Main mailing address) from Rachel Krajewski, of Carner Development Group, owner of the property. The request is to operate a campground and construct seasonal cottages, trechouses, a lodge, and convert the existing residences into sleeping rooms and an administration building. Town Code requires the Town Board refer the applications to the Planning Board for their review and recommendation. The application shall also be referred to the Erie County Planning Department and DOT as per GML 239-m. After receiving the Planning Board recommendation the Town Board shall schedule a public hearing. A SEQR determination is required prior to a Town Board decision on the applications. Both applications are Unlisted actions for purposes of SEQRA. Please contact me if you have any questions. liz
