11th Town Board Meeting 06/03/2026 Page 7 RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby authorize the Supervisor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement for the Western New York Stormwater Coalition and authorize the Town to pay the annual membership participation fee of $2,000.00 per year until December 31, 2030, as recommended by the Town Engineer. The resolution was unanimously adopted. New Business #10 Authorize the Supervisor to sign agreement with Passero Associates for professional services for the Abbott Road Speed Study Project. 12) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO, TO WIT: WHEREAS, consultant assistance services for the Abbott Road Traffic Speed Study were requested to possibly reduce the linear speed limit of Abbott Road between Lake Ave. and US-20A; and WHEREAS, Passero Associates, Transportation and Traffic Engineering Division Specializes in all avenues of traffic engineering. They are qualified to provide a speed limit study of Abbott Road using the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, NYS Supplement and New York State Department of Transportation requirements to properly analyses, traffic volume data, speed data, and crash data. Once complete, they will summarize the study procedure finding, and make recommendations for review and approval; and WHEREAS, there is funding available that would require a budget transfer to Capital Account AB031, Abbott Road Speed Study from the General Fund. NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby authorize the Supervisor to sign the agreement with Passero Associates, 242 West Main Street, Suite 100, Rochester, New York, 14614, to provide professional services for the Abbott Road Traffic Study, for an amount not to exceed $5,900.00, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby approve the creation of Capital Account AB031, Abbott Road Speed Study, as recommended by the Town Engineer. The resolution was unanimously adopted. New Business #11 Approve Floodplain Development Permit FDP#2026-01 for James Mosner #5349 Dennis Road for Stream bank stabilization downstream of Dennis Road Bridge Project. 13) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOMBREA, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT, TO WIT: WHEREAS, the Town Engineering Department has received from James Mosner, an application for a Floodplain Development Permit to install stream bank stabilization for his home at 5349 Dennis Road; Orchard Park, New York 14127; and WHEREAS, the Town Engineer has reviewed the application and has found it to be acceptable. This stream bank stabilization work will be done in conjunction with the Dennis Road Culvert Replacement Project that is scheduled to start in June 2026. NOW, THEREFORE be it
