Special Meeting May 13, 2026 Page 1 A Special Session Meeting was called by the Town Board of the Town of Orchard Park, Erie County, New York, held at the Orchard Park Municipal Center, S4295 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, New York on the 13th day of May 2026 at 6:35 P.M. (local time) Present: Joseph Liberti Supervisor Scott Honer Deputy Supervisor John Mariano Councilmember Julia Mombrea Councilmember Dr. Gregory Bennett Councilmember Tim Gallagher Town Attorney MOTION MADE BY SUPERVISOR LIBERTI to go into Special Meeting, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO, WITH UNANIMOUS APPROVAL, THE MOTION WAS ADOPTED. MOTION made by COUNCILMEMBER MOMBREA for the Town Board to appoint Alexis Reed to the position of Administrative Clerk assigned to the Engineering Department, the Resolution was read into the record. NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby appoints Alexis Reed to the position of Administrative Clerk assigned to the Engineering Department, and be it further, RESOLVED, that Ms. Reed’s compensation will be at Range 0006, Step 1st yr. $22.89 per hour of the union wage schedule effective May 26, 2026, and be it further, RESOLVED, that Ms. Reed is being appointed with a six-month probation period and pending meeting all Civil Service rules & regulations. THE MOTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOMBREA, WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT, WITH UNANIMOUS APPROVAL, THE MOTION WAS ADOPTED. MOTION made by COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO for the Town Board to adopt a resolution to temporally fill a vacancy for Police Chief effective May 14, 2026, the Resolution was read into the record. WHEREAS, the Town of Orchard Park will have a vacancy for Police Chief on May 14, 2026, and WHEREAS, the Town of Orchard Park must appoint an Interim Police Chief until the New Police Chief is appointed, and
