New Business #4 Approve the Newton Farm Spring Faire and Farmers Market Special Event. 8) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOMBREA, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby approve the Special Event Permit request for the Newton Farm Spring Faire and Farmers Market to be held on Sunday May 17, 2026 from 11:00AM – 5:00PM pending all fees having been paid, insurances having been provided and Department heads having approved. The resolution was unanimously adopted. On the question: Councilmember Julia Mombrea stated the event will be held at 5291 Newton Rd. New Business #5 Approve the Active You Quaker Dash 5K. 9) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY SUPERVISOR LIBERTI, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER HONER, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby approve the Special Event Permit request for the Active You Quaker Dash 5K Run to be held on Friday July 24, 2026 from 6:30PM – 8PM pending all fees having been paid and insurances having been provided. The resolution was unanimously adopted.
