Town Board Organizational Meeting January 7, 2026 14 The resolution was unanimously adopted. 55) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY SUPERVISOR LIBERTI, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby adopt all orders in the matter of Speed and other Traffic Regulations in the Town of Orchard Park, and these orders of Speed and other Traffic Regulations are filed in the Town Clerk’s Office for the Year 2026, and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby appoint the following to the Public Safety Committee for the Year 2026: Captain Daniel Honer, Andrew Slotman Highway Superintendent as Liaison, Matthew Hartung (Deputy Mayor Village Liaison), Jim Loga, Ryan Crawford, Dan Neaverth Jr., Dwight Mateer, and Paul Gorczyca, and be it further RESOLVED, that Captain Daniel Honer is hereby designated as Chairperson of the Public Safety Committee for the year 2026. The resolution was unanimously adopted. 56) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER HONER, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby appoint Robert Fortenbaugh, with a term to expire December 31, 2032, and Tom Kotrys with a term to expire December 31, 2026, to the Recreation Commission. The resolution was unanimously adopted. 57) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER HONER WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby appoint the following members to the Senior Services Task Force for the Year 2026: Harold Fabinsky, Joe Liberti, Denise Kennedy, Joe Pici, and Thomas Pieczynski and be it further RESOLVED, that Harold Fabinsky is hereby designated as the chairperson for the Senior Services Task Force for the year 2026. The resolution was unanimously adopted. 58) THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED BY COUNCILMEMBER BENNETT WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER MARIANO, TO WIT: RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby appoint the following members to the Tree Conservancy Committee for the Year 2026: Andy Schichtel as Chair for Year 2026, Dave Ward, Andy Slotman, Bernadette Clabeaux, Rachel Wach, Marion Fields, and Frederick Piasecki as Co-Chair.
