Resolution Establishing the Position of Deputy Supervisor WHEREAS, the Town Board of Orchard Park recognizes the need for enhanced administrative capacity and continuity of leadership to ensure efficient governance, effective public service, and responsiveness to community needs; and WHEREAS, the creation of a Deputy Supervisor role will provide additional support to the Supervisor, strengthen succession planning, and ensure that the Town Board maintains consistent leadership during periods of the Supervisors’ absence(s); and WHEREAS, the Deputy Supervisor shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board, and shall reflects our commitment to smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and strong community engagement, while making sure Orchard Park remains well-managed and prepared for the future; and WHEREAS, the Deputy Supervisor’s yearly stipend will be $5,000.00 annually. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of Orchard Park hereby establishes the position of Deputy Supervisor; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption, and the Town Clerk is hereby directed to record and publish the resolution in accordance with applicable law.
