Resolution to hire Cheryl Thompson as seasonal kitchen help at the Senior Center WHEREAS, the Town of Orchard Park requires temporary kitchen assistance to maintain operations, ensure coverage during permanent staffing transitions, and support peak seasonal demands; and WHEREAS, management has identified and vetted qualified candidates who possess the necessary experience and skills to fulfill these temporary roles; and WHEREAS, Cheryl Thompson’s extensive volunteer background and demonstrated team-player attitude will provide critical operational support during this transitional hiring period. NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby approve the appointment of Chery! Thompson as a Seasonal Kitchen Assisstant at a pay rate of $21.00 per hour with a work week of 6 hours per week effective May 27, 2026 as recommended by the Senior Center Director.
